This Solid Shampoo bar is plant-based, has a bubbly and creamy lather, and is scented with essential oils. This is an improved recipe from my former Solid Shampoo bar! I added more peppermint essential oil, so I hope you feel a little “zing” on your scalp.
Why use a Solid Shampoo Bar, you ask?
1. It's all natural. No sulfates, detergents, or other unknown chemicals that are found in commercial shampoos.

3. It's travel-friendly. Why? It's not a liquid! No chance of spillage (aka sticky exploding shampoo mess) in your suitcase/backpack with a Solid Shampoo. It can also be used as a body soap and shaving soap, which is great for camping and the gym.

5. No PLASTIC bottles = a little bit of help for the environment. (In fact, Solid Soaps's packaging is mainly recycled material and is almost 100% recyclable!)

Ingredients of Solid Shampoo Soap: saponified oils of olive, coconut, castor, almond, and shea butter; chamomile tea; lavender, tea tree & peppermint essential oils; turmeric powder.
*Because of the pH (9-10) of cold process soap, most people use a slightly acidic rinse on their hair after using a shampoo bar. Apple cider vinegar has pH of around 3, and when properly diluted with water, it helps to balance the pH of the hair.
